Is my server ready for Chapter 1?
Yes. Hytale Chapter 1, Out of the Breach (Update 7), was released on 12 October 2026. New servers run the latest version. Before upgrading an existing world, take a backup, because some plugins need updating by their authors first.
How much memory do I need?
Around 4 GB is fine for a handful of friends. Around 8 GB suits most groups of 10–20, and more is needed for big plugin lists or players who explore far apart. The plan finder above gives a suggestion.
Can I use plugins and mods?
Yes. Upload them to your server through the file manager or SFTP and restart. Plugins made for older updates may need an update from their author before they load on the newest version.
Can I move my existing world to Nexcom?
Yes. Upload your world folder through SFTP, or ask us on Discord and we’ll help you move it.
Is Hytale still in early access?
Yes. Hytale is in early access, so expect regular updates and occasional changes to how servers work. We follow every release closely.
